Can I just tell you that I was so inspired by the Chic Tags papers and tags!  I was so excited for this hop. I wanted to create a layout using the awesome Cloud 9 Paper and Tags along with my favorite Some Odd Girl stamps and Digi Cut Files and here is what I came up with.
I had this favorite photo of my boys on vacation last year and the Cloud 9 paper was just so perfect for the photo.  I am so circles right now and the circle tags and yummy flair worked out so perfectly from Chic Tags.   For my  title I used the Hearts and Love cut file.  I also used stamps from the Hipster Mae, HIpster Kody, and I Do stamp collections.
To see how this layout came about I made a video for you.  Enjoy!

Tuesday SOG Digi Release

Happy Tuesday!

It is Tuesday and that means it is a new release from Some Odd Girl.  Today I am sharing the most awesome digi cut file package EVER!  Once again Kristy has out done herself with these awesome cut files that use her caligraphy skills.  I used all the sentiments in my title for my layout!  I just loved them all and they all describe my little one.
For my layout I used some Elles' Studio pattern paper and tags.  I then cut my title using the brand new sentiments using my Silhouette.  After attaching the title I added some fun stamping using the Photo Kaylee stamps-heart and star.

I have a process video for you to see how this layout came about.

Tuesday Some Odd Girl Digi Release Hello

Happy Tuesday!

I first have to say that my blog is being a bit neglected lately and I am very sorry!  We have been jammed packed and busy this summer.  I have been crafting but I am just keeping up with my DT projects.  I haven't even had any time to play with some challenges.  I am also in the process of purging my supplies!  I am reorganizing my scrap room and getting rid of paper that I have had for almost 5 years.  It is crazy.  I am NOT a hoarder by any means but I just don't have the time to use all my supplies.  So I made the big decision to really downsize my supplies.  It feels really good.  I will post photos when I am about done.

So let's get down to the business of today!  It is Tuesday and that means it is a Digi Release.  I picked to highlight the AWESOME  senitiment cut files.  I LOVE these so much.  I chose the word HELLO to highlight for my card today.  I also go to play a bit with my watercolors!  I love the combination.
I made a quick video for you as well.  I show how I colored my sentiment using my spectrum noir markers and how I did my watercolor background.

Tuesday SOG Smile Digi Release

Happy Tuesday!

Tuesday means that there is a new Digi Release from Some Odd Girl. This release once again has awesome sentiments.  On my project today I used "Smile and Yes".  I totally love them and they are perfect for scrapbooking!

For my layout today I broke into my stash and pulled out some fun MME paper and got busy creating a Christmas layout of me and my boys from 2012.  For my background I created my own circle background. ( I would love to share it with you as a free digi cut but I don't know how to do that yet.)  I also stamped on my layout using my Some Odd Girl Clear Stamps. I used Tree Trimming Kaylee sentiments.

I made this quick video for you on how this layout came about.

Wednesday SOG Digi Release Celebrate

Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday was Tuesday and that means that Some Odd Girl had a new digi stamp and cut file release.  I chose the digi cut files to highlight today.  On my laout I have the title Celebrate and that comes from the new sentiment digi cut file release.  I love the scripted font.  Kristy made this using caligraphy.  Isn't is awesome!
For my layout I really dug into my stash and pulled out some totally yummy supplies from Imaginisce, Core'dinations, Freckled Fawn,Some Odd Girl Clear Stamps, and Paper Bakery kit club.  I love how all the odds n ends come together to make a really fun layout.

The layout is of my little one's 4th birthday.  Yes, I am behind because now he is 5 1/2 yrs. old  I am doing my best to get caught up just a bit.  I don't mind being behind but 2 years is a little much.  LOL!!  This summer my goal is to finish 2012!  I can do it. Right??

I made this video on how I made the layout and how I used all the embellishment.
Thanks so much for joining me today.  I will see you soon.  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday Milk and Cookies

Happy Monday!

This week brings the CLEAR STAMP RELEASE over at SOME ODD GIRL!  This new release is just way too much fun.  Today I am highlighting the Milk and Cookies stamp set.   I love just love this set.  I see tons of lunch box notes for my boys using this new set!
For my card I started off with a kraft card base and then ran a strip of Core'dinations cardstock through the Cuttlebug using a Lifestyle Craft embossing folder.  I then added my sentiment and some twine.  I stamped my images on the 110lb smooth cardstock from Core'dinations and then colored my cuties using my spectrum noir markers.  Finally I cut them out and adhered them to the card using foam dots.

Stop by the SOME ODD GIRL STORE and pick up this awesome new set.
